About
The Cycle Count function acts as a substitute for or a supplement to the periodic full physical counting activities by counting or verifying the on-hand quantity of small batches of (selected) items daily. This function is configurable to allow Company Level users to control the annual counting frequency for various counting categories within Datarithm and to select the days during a week that counts will be assigned. This feature is only accessible to Pharmacy Level user accounts. Company and Region Level users can access this feature by first impersonating a Pharmacy Level User.

Datarithm supports two-cycle counting methods: Expedited Cycle Count and Standard Cycle Count. Note that a feature called Blind Cycle Counting can be employed with either approach. Blind Cycle Counting prevents the user from seeing the “Quantity to Expect” column in the Cycle Count list. The “Quantity to Expect” is the on-hand amount delivered from the pharmacy management system to Datarithm. Blind Cycle Counting can be enabled within Forecast Settings.
